DURO-TUSS Dry Cough Liquid Forte, is specially formulated for effective relief of stubborn, non-productive dry coughs that last up to 8 hours.
Dextromethorphan hydrobromide monohydrate 3mg/mL
Adults and children 12 years old and over: 10mL every 6-8 hours if necessary (maximum 4 doses per day).
Children 6 -11 years old (only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner): 5mL every 6- 8 hours, if necessary (maximum 4 doses per day).
Do not use this medicine in children under 6 years. Use in children aged 6-11 years, only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.
Do not use this medicine if you are taking a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or an antidepressant medicine within the past two weeks, if seal is broken or if past the expiry date
While using this medicine, if symptoms persist, see your doctor or pharmacist.
This medicine contains 18.2g sorbitol per 40mL (recommended maximum daily dose). Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
